As you are of course aware, world famous big-butt aficionado Sir-Mix-A-Lot hails from the home of west coast hip-hop, Seattle. However, before he made millions encouraging the putting of 'em on the glass, he had a minor hit called "My Posse's on Broadway." The track details the beknighted mixer's travails with his group of friends through his Seattle neighborhood and their eventual arrival on Broadway. As luck would have it, our friend Heather lives just off of Broadway in Seattle and during our recent visit we took the opportunity to retrace the frequent mixer's steps and document our travals. You can find a less accurate (though officially sanctioned) video here.

Apparently we've been up for over a year because our domain name expired a few days ago. The email our domain name reseller uses was out of date and because I think it's cool to run my own DNS I had no idea that no one outside of our network could see us (or email us). Anyway, Ari (hence forth referred to as The Man) alerted me to the fact and so I just renewed the Domain Name. If you are reading this you are either Fawn or the dns is back working.
Special thanks to The Man!!!

If you're a commie pinko like me the nomination of Harriet Miers seemed
dumb but not overtly horrendous. Sure she has no formal judging
experience and currently works literally down the hall from the prez,
however, that just makes it seem like an innocuous political reward,
but not so much a danger to my commie pinko lifestyle. But if you look
a little closer I think its a fiendishly brilliant move that if
confirmed will have devastating effects on my east coast liberal way of
life... |

... and more importantly Phoenix is back up. Sorry for the
extended downtime, but we wanted to "move in" and "set up the house"
and "not waste time on [my] crap". Anyway, we've set up like two
rooms which means it's crap wastin' time. Radio shows, 'blogs and
updates should be comin' down the pike soon.

Thomas Jefferson in his Declaration of Independence summed it up nicely
as 'life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.' Really he was
bitting Locke's 'life, liberty and property', but the sentiment is that
every person is entitled to some minimal set of rights just by being
born. These are, of course, high-minded ideals meant to justify
revolutions - whether they are our birthright is unknowable but they
are certainly reasonable and preferable to the alternative. What
they betray, however, is the necessity of certain prerequisites to the
possibility of a fair life. That is, you must be allowed to Live
so you can be Free (have Liberty) to Pursue Happiness (or at least
Property)...
